Shaji Mathew who draws under the nom-de-plume of ‘SHAJI MALAYALAPUZHA’ was born on 30th May 1969, at Pathanamthitta as the son of P J Mathai and Ponnama Mathai. He is married to Wincy. He has two children, Roshin and Richin . He lives at Malayalapuzha, Thekkepurayidathil, Chingal Thadam P O, Pathannamthitta-989671

    I am happy that Shaji is out on a crudade against illicit liquor using cartoons. In that he stands apart from the rest of us in the KCA.

    However I wish he soon starts drawing under a shorter name - just Shaji :)

    I am really sorry that a talented cartoonist like Shaji did not get enough and deserving exposure. Cartoons are really good in drawing and humour.Mobile phone cartoons are really great and timely.All the best.We all cartoonists have to learn how to market cartoons.But all cartooists, except 1 or 2, are reluctant to do self publicity.
