James Manalody who draws under the nom-de-plume of ‘JAMES’ was born on 09 th January, at Pulikkuttissery, Aymanam, Kottayam as the son of Late Chacko Mathai and Late Aleyamma Mathai. He is married to Jerine James. He has two children, a son named Joel and a daughter named Joyce .
He has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and an AMIE. Also he has a Diploma in Computer Arts & Fine Arts. He runs a few Cartoon Columns named Bottomline, MoneylalSeth, Knock-Out-Punch and Jest James , Topsy-Turvy, CartoonCorner, Flip-Side and MaskaPav. He has worked for many leading newspapers of Mumbai and is a Theatre buff.
